*** SPONSORSHIP & SUPPORT - Truro City Youth and Penryn Rugby Football ***

Lewis Haughton Wills have proudly been given the opportunity to support two local sports clubs.

Truro City Youth Football Club
Lewis Haughton Wills Ltd are proud to sponsor Truro City Youth Football Club.
We firmly believe in being able to transfer our success into success for others in the community and sponsorship provides an ideal opportunity for both sides to grow. Nurturing our youth to be great Team players and winners is a fantastic privilege, which as a company we are excited and honoured to help achieve. Our goal is to help make your goal(s).

Penryn Rugby Football Club
As a company we have supported Penryn RFC’s current U12s since 2009 and this season we are also extremely proud to show our support to the 1st Team by providing them with new sponsored match kit.

Comments from one our directors, Gareth Wills adds "As an independent estate agency, client service and satisfaction form the key foundation stone to our business ethos. It is our pleasure to, once again, support this great club and youth team who we know are going from strength to strength. I played rugby for Penryn RFC myself and feel that supporting my home club will help them gain their own goals and achievements"

Previous community support:

We proudly sponsored Trispen Football Club with their own Purple Team Strip. We also have sponsored an advertising board at the football club, St Erme Cricket Ground and Carharrack Football Club.
Trispen were fortunate enough to win the Percy Stephens Cup last season (2nd biggest in junior football).

We have also supported The Shine Charity.
We were also pleased to sponsor Truro High School for Girls 'Amy Key Dinner'.

Community & Charity Support LHW Christmas/New Year Painting Competition Winners – in aid of Little Harbour, Children’s Hospice South West.

What an exciting afternoon enjoyed by all 8 competition winners at Lewis Haughton Wills Lemon Street Truro office on Monday 07/02/17. Delicious cakes and tea were the order of the day as torrential rain continued to pour –this certainly did not deter all prize-winning children and their parents attending at 4.30pm!

The competition held over the Christmas and new year period was open to children up to 16 years and lots of entries were dropped into Lewis Haughton Wills offices in Church Street Falmouth and Lemon Street Truro until the closing date in Mid-January. All the pictures were displayed either in the office windows or internal displays over the festive period- which certainly attracted attention from local shoppers- several even asked to “view some of the more colourful properties!”

Local Artist Krista Maynard carefully judged all entries in our Falmouth branch on Wednesday the 1st February. She chose 3 winners from the younger age group and 3 winners from the older age category along with 2 extra pictures for special mentions from the younger age group entries.

Clare Cross from Little Harbour was on hand to give out some of the prizes and collected a cheque for £500 donated by LHW.

Mark Lewis, Senior Director stated “it’s been a pleasure to run a competition for children from our local community which has been great fun and at the same time to be able to donate to such a deserving charity.”

Thanks to all who was involved with this great event.
